Clicks, QR, and UTM without a second tool

A short link that you cannot measure is a poster with the lights off. lnkz.xyz records a click after the 302 redirect, so the visitor is not waiting on analytics. Raw IP addresses are never stored. We hash ip + link + UTC date with a server secret, and that hash rotates daily.

Free vs Pro charts

• Free: a running click total on each link.
• Pro and Business: last 7 / 30 / 90 days, unique visitors per day, country, device, referrer.
• Bots still redirect. They are tagged as device = bot and hidden from chart defaults, but they stay in the raw total.

QR and UTM

QR images are generated at request time from the short URL - PNG or SVG, no extra table. Download from the link detail page in the dashboard or via GET /api/v1/links/{code}/qr. The UTM builder on create merges source, medium, campaign, term, and content onto the destination query string without duplicating keys you already set.

Custom aliases are also Pro+. The name has to be unique, not reserved, and at least as long as your plan’s sequential minimum. Aliases do not burn sequential inventory.

Where to see charts

Open any link from /app to view totals and, on Pro+, the chart tabs. Bio page buttons can point at your short links so Instagram traffic shows up in the same analytics you already use for campaigns.
